Tadelakt
Tadelakt is a traditional Moroccan lime plaster that allows for the creation of waterproof and water-repellent decorative surfaces. Using a polishing stone and olive oil soap, a silky-smooth, glossy, and exceptionally durable finish is achieved.

Tadelakt is a centuries-old Moroccan finishing technique used in shower rooms, bathrooms and other damp areas. Lime reacts with soap, forming a waterproof and water-repellent surface that also retains its natural breathability.

1. Preparation of the Substrate
Ensure a strong, rough, and mineral-rich base surface.
2. Preparing the mixture
Approx. 0,25 liters of water per 1 kg.
3. Application
Apply two thin coats to the surface.
4. Polishing and Soaping
Polish with a stone and treat in two stages with olive oil soap.
5. Drying
Dries in 2โ3 days; reaches full strength within 6 months.
6. Maintenance and Recommendations
Clean with Marseille or Corfu soap. Dry the shower surfaces after use.
