KIP 3808 WASHI-TEC® Gold Masking Tape is a universal premium masking tape that combines ultra-thin washi paper with high-quality acrylic adhesive. Thanks to its backing reinforced with JINZOKEI® fibres, the tape is particularly tear-resistant and adapts well to uneven surfaces. This helps prevent paint from bleeding underneath the tape and allows you to achieve impeccably clean paint edges.

Instructions for use
1. Preparation of the Substrate
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. It is recommended to make a test sample prior to attaching to sensitive surfaces.
2. Tape usage
Set the tape against the desired place and press it carefully against the substrate. Pay special attention to the edges of the tape to ensure a maximally clean paint separation.
3. Painting
Apply the paint to the surface according to manufacturer’s instructions. Thin washi-paper significantly reduces the risk of paint bleeding under the tape and helps to achieve sharp color edges.
4. Tape removal
Slowly remove the tape at an angle of about 45° after painting or within the recommended usage period. When used correctly, the tape will remove cleanly without leaving any glue residue.
5. Storage
Store in a dry and cool place in the original packaging, protected from direct sunlight.
