1. Preparation of the Substrate
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. It is recommended to make a test sample prior to attaching to sensitive surfaces.
2. Tape usage
Set the tape against the desired place and press it firmly against the substrate. Special attention should be paid to the edges of the tape to prevent paint from bleeding under the tape.
3. Painting
Apply the paint to the surface according to manufacturer instructions. The tape is suitable for use with both water- and solvent-based paints.
4. Tape removal
Slowly remove the tape at an angle of about 45° before final hardening of the adhesive or within the recommended usage period. This helps to achieve a clean and sharp paint edge.
5. Storage
Store in a dry and cool place in the original packaging, protected from direct sunlight.
