Base oil does not contain resin and is suitable for priming interior and exterior surfaces before applying linseed oil paint. Due to the small molecule, linseed oil penetrates deep into the wood's surface. It fills the wood's pores nicely, thus providing a perfect adhesive surface for the subsequent layers of oil paint. The material suits all untreated wood surfaces, cork, natural stones and neutral plasters. For outdoor use, the surface must be coated with tinted Kreidezeit glaze or covered linseed oil paint. The material is easy to process, dirt and water-repellent and leaves a breathable surface. Using base oil for priming makes the cost of materials used on the surface significantly lower.
Suitable for all untreated wood surfaces, cork, natural stones and neutral plasters.
Average material consumption per layer 0.08l/m2. The price of the material is €2.46/m2.
