Stand oil paint is a good covering, weather resistant and resin free oil paint for interior and exterior wood surfaces. The paint does not crack or peel and the diffusion allows moisture to move out of the wood, thus protecting it from warping. Only weather and UV resistant mineral pigments are used as tinting pigments. A special Kreidezeit priming oil is suitable for priming the wood. The intermediate (higher pigment content) and final (higher oil content) coats are applied separately and make the wood more resistant to outdoor conditions. The oil-rich topcoat gives the paint elasticity while the intermediate coat (higher pigment content) is permanent. This makes renewal easy: a new coat of topcoat is all that is needed on a cleaned surface. There are 113 different shades available on the Kreidezeit Stand oil paint colour chart, and you can also order shades to order, e.g. based on the Tikkurila, SAX or NCS colour charts.
According to the substrate's absorbency, the average material consumption in 1 layer is 0.06-0.08L/m².
