Composition

  • Based on pure air lime and micronized natural pozzolans.
  • Does not contain cement, salts or harmful additives

Fortis Intonaco MAK30 is a mineral plaster mortar based on pure air lime and natural pozzolans. Thanks to its special pozzolanic binder, the product provides excellent adhesion to the substrate, high water vapour permeability, and elasticity, helping to reduce the risk of cracking. The material is completely cement-free and contains no salts or harmful additives, making it particularly suitable for both restoration work and maintaining a healthy indoor climate in modern construction.

Features

  • Very good adhesion and elasticity
  • High water vapour permeability (ฮผ < 8)
  • Resistant to molds, bacteria and alkaline environments
  • Suitable for ecological construction and environmentally friendly

Application areas

  • For indoor and outdoor plastering
  • Stone, brick, concrete and mixed masonry
  • Restoration and heritage conservation projects
  • Suitable for natural substrates (e.g. hemp-lime, straw, bamboo)

Technical specifications

  • Layer thickness: 5 mm (bonding coat), 10โ€“15 mm (subsequent coats)
  • Consumption: approx. 13โ€“14 kg/mยฒ (10 mm layer)
  • Grain size: 0โ€“3 mm
  • Compressive strength: CS II
  • Water vapour resistance: ฮผ < 8
  • Working temperature: +5 ยฐC up to +35 ยฐC

Application conditions

  • Substrate must be clean, stable and moistened
  • Mix ~5,5 l water / 25 kg dry mix
  • Apply to the surface by machine in multiple coats
  • Apply subsequent layer only after drying
  1. Substrate preparation
  • Clean the surface and remove all substances that might impair adhesion
  • Repair holes and joints with a suitable mixture
  • Moisten the substrate before starting work
  1. Mix preparation
  • Mix 25 kg of dry mix to ~5,5 litres of water
  • Mix into a uniform mass
  • Let the mix rest for 10โ€“15 minutes
  1. Application
  • Apply plaster to the surface by machine
  • Start with a ~5 mm bonding coat
  • After drying (12โ€“24 h) apply subsequent coats
  • Maximum thickness of a single coat 10โ€“15 mm
  • When working in greater thicknesses, apply in multiple coats
  1. Aftercare
  • Protect surface from direct sunlight and rapid drying
  • Moisten the surface if necessary
  • Use a reinforceming mesh for problematic areas
  • Apply finishing materials only after the plaster has completely hardened
  1. Working conditions
  • Temperature: +5 ยฐC up to +35 ยฐC
  • Avoid wind and direct sunlight
