Marble Lime Putty
Kalkglätte is a natural mineral marble-lime finishing compound for interior surfaces, creating smooth, matte or lightly textured finishes. Thanks to its high alkalinity, it naturally inhibits mold growth and is especially suitable for bathrooms and humid spaces.

Kalkglätte is a natural mineral marble-lime finishing compound for interior surfaces, creating smooth, matte or lightly textured finishes. Thanks to its high alkalinity, it naturally inhibits mold growth and is especially suitable for bathrooms and humid spaces.
Kalkglätte is a fine marble-lime finishing plaster (grain size up to 0.5 mm) designed for smooth and decorative surfaces. It is breathable, easy to apply and helps level minor substrate irregularities. The final appearance depends on the application technique and can vary from uniform matte to softly clouded decorative effects.
- Substrate preparation
Clean and stabilize the surface. Remove dust, grease, loose materials and contaminants. Repair damaged areas and prime if necessary. - Preparation
Mix thoroughly before use. - Application
Apply in 1–2 thin layers using a trowel. The first layer evens the surface, the second creates the decorative finish. - Drying and conditions
Allow drying between layers. Protect from rapid drying.
Substrate
- Clean, dry, stable and slightly absorbent
- Free from dust, grease and loose particles
- Suitable: mineral plasters, concrete, primed plasterboard
- Not suitable: wood, plastics, non-absorbent or permanently wet surfaces
Layers and consumption
- Consumption: approx. 1 kg/m² (1 mm layer)
- Two-layer application recommended for best results (~1.5 kg/m² total)
- First layer evens substrate, second layer creates final finish
