The specific requirements for the substrate will depend largely on the finishing material chosen. For the substrate requirements of each product, please refer to the instructions for use of the specific product. It is also important to read in the instructions which primer should be applied to the surface beforehand, so that the substrate surface is even and does not develop patches of different shades when it dries.

In addition to natural paints, non-natural paints are also suitable as primers, but it is recommended that these are first treated with a suitable primer. If in doubt about the substrate or the primer, you can always contact our salon staff and we will be happy to help you out.
