Kreidezeit Garden Furniture Oil is a natural wood oil that protects and maintains outdoor wood surfaces, highlighting the natural grain and color of the wood. The oil penetrates deep into the wood, making it water- and dirt-repellent while allowing for easy maintenance and renewal.

Kreidezeit Garden Furniture Oil is a natural oil-based wood treatment that does not form a film on the surface but penetrates deep into the wood, preserving its breathability and natural behaviour. Thanks to its elastic composition, the surface does not become brittle or crack and wears evenly over time, allowing for easy maintenance without having to completely remove the old coating.

Layers and consumption
- Suggested: 2 layers
- Cost: approx. 0,06 l/mยฒ per layer
- Higher consumption for highly absorbent surfaces
Substrate
- Unprocessed, clean and dry wood
- Free of dust and grease
- Wood moisture < 15%
- Not suitable for surfaces with varnish or synthetic coatings

- Sand the wood (P80โ100), rounding the edges
- Remove dust and dirt
- Ensure the wood is dry and absorbent
- Oil preparation
- Mix before use
- If desired, tint with pigments (UV-protection and colour tone)
- Do not pour directly on surface
- Application
- Apply first layer with a brush, sponge or cloth
- After 10โ20 min remove excess oil with a dry cloth
- Ensure the surface is uniform and not sticky
- If necessary, lightly sand before the second layer
- Apply the second layer in the same way
- Drying and conditions
- Working temperature minimum +10 ยฐC
- Overcoatable after ~24 h (tannin-rich wood ~48 h)
- Full hardening ~4 weeks
- Maintenance and renewing
- Renew the surface when it becomes absorbent or grayish
- When necessary clean with water or natural soap
- Regular maintenance significantly extends lifespan
Note:
Adding pigments helps prevent the wood from turning grey and improves UV resistance outdoors.
