Shellac sealer primer is used to prevent penetrating stains on various surfaces. Shellac is a natural resin of animal origin. It is produced by female scale lice and harvested from the branches twice a year. Thanks to bleaching and cleaning, suitable properties are achieved, which allow it to be used, for example, in insulating paints, pharmaceuticals, finishing materials, and inks.
To prevent penetrating water, rust, soot, or nicotine stains on absorbent wall and ceiling surfaces such as plaster, wallpaper, and wood. It is not suitable for moisture blocking or use on damp surfaces.
Depending on the substrate's absorbency, 0.75 litres can prime approximately 5m2. The price of 0.75L shellac is 41.58€.
